Choosing a wedding destination
My sister is having a destination wedding. I firstly had no idea what she meant by this but she explained that she is going to have one in an exotic location. I am not surprised as she has searched online for years and said that she would like to get married on a beach somewhere, which does sound idyllic to me. I can think of nothing more relaxing than walking barefoot along the beach with my husband to be in a light suit and sun glasses and all the guests in floaty dresses. Imagine the smell of the sea and the feel of the sand beneath the feet and best of all the relaxing sound of the tide. Makes my Michigan wedding seem pretty plain, but I enjoyed it and I think that my guests did too. My sister does have a bit of a problem with her dream wedding – her fiancé has a completely different idea of what he would like to do. It is not causing major arguments but they really will have to resolve it soon so that they can book the venue and get the invitations out. His idea of a dream castle wedding could not be much further away than her beach plans. Personally I hope they go for the beach – sounds fantastic!
